This Earth Day, April 22, 2024, La Green Hotel & Residence proudly led a significant environmental initiative at Layan Beach, Phuket. In collaboration with the dynamic teams from Layan Green Park and Layan Verde, we hosted a beach clean-up that turned into a remarkable demonstration of community involvement and environmental responsibility.

Early in the morning, our teams, along with volunteers, were armed with bags and gloves. Our goal was not only to clean up the trash but also to raise awareness about the impact of pollution on our environments and beaches.

Throughout the day, we collected garbage, including plastics, discarded fishing gear, and other debris harmful to marine life. Each piece of trash removed represents a small victory in the larger battle to protect our oceans and their biodiversity.

The Earth Day clean-up was just the beginning. We are excited to continue this momentum with regular clean-up events and other sustainability initiatives. We encourage our guests, staff, and the community to remain engaged and proactive in our shared environmental goals.
