Transforming Marine Waste into Art: Giving Ocean Waste New Meaning at La Green
On July 23, 2026, the atmosphere at Overgrown in La Green Hotel & Residence was filled with inspiration and creative energy during our special event: "Creative Workshop: Transforming Marine Waste into Art."
Designed to promote sustainability and raise awareness about ocean conservation, the workshop kicked off at 09:30 AM. Over 25 participants gathered to transform discarded marine debris and waste materials into unique art pieces breathing new life and meaning into items that were once considered trash. The event concluded with a heartwarming reflection session, a group photo, and a delicious lunch paired with refreshing fruit juice.
To ensure the message continues to inspire, all of the artwork created during the workshop has been put on display in an exclusive exhibit at the La Green Kids Club. By showcasing these ocean-waste masterpieces, we aim to spark curiosity and instill environmental mindfulness in our youngest guests. Seeing trash turned into beautiful art teaches the next generation that creativity can be a powerful tool for protecting our planet.
This workshop proved once again that art and sustainability can walk hand-in-hand to create a cleaner, brighter, and more conscious future at La Green. 🌿✨
